Discounts on AUA sponsored training events. AUA provides training opportunities for school-age providers. Statewide trainings and workshops feature keynote speakers, training sessions, and numerous opportunities to interact with friends and associates.

Membership in AUA is an effective way of getting to know and staying in contact with your Utah colleagues. Your membership will help you share ideas and exchange valuable information with colleagues from both urban and rural areas of the state. AUA gives every member the opportunity to join a committee devoted to quality school-age care in the state of Utah.

The AUA Membership Directory lists all members with their contact information.
4. National Affiliation
AUA is the Utah affiliate of the National AfterSchool Association. As a member of NAA, you will receive a national newsletter, public policy alerts, access to the most current child care information available, and a discount to the annual National AfterSchool Association Conference.
5. Community Awareness
AUA promotes community awareness and involvement of policy makers, educators, families and the public about the need for quality care for children and youth during out-of-school time.
6. Connection with the Utah Afterschool Network
AUA & UAN combine resources to provide a broad range of training opportunities, corriculum, best practices, and more.
7. Committee Involvement
As a member of AUA, you have the opportunity to let your voice be heard by voluntary participation on one of the following state AUA committees:
Governance
Review bylaws and policy; maintain membership on the AUA Board and Executive Council through proper nomination policy.
Membership
Recruit members; maintain membership roster and renewals; review annual dues, benefits and service; make recommendations to the AUA board.
Advocacy
Inform members of legislation affecting school-age care; seek to rais public awareness of the mission of the AfterSchool Utah! Association.
Communications & Resource Development
Maintain connection with membership; enhance media relations and communications; seek funding and grant proposals; prepare annual budget.
Professional Development
Promote continuing education and staff development; organize the premier statewide conference and regional trainings for the Utah AfterSchool Community.

Individual Membership Fee
Active one year Membership Non-Transferable - $40.00
The $40.00 membership fee is divided with twenty percent supporting the National AfterSchool Association and the remainder going toward state membership activities.
