The National AfterSchool Association (NAA) and the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) have joined together in support of creating an aligned learning day for children. Such a learning day considers the needs of the whole child and encompasses the ways, times, and situations in which children learn. An aligned learning day provides a wide variety of enriching experiences that help children become engaged learners. Presenter Paul G. Young, President & CEO of National AfterSchool Association leads the group in learning about training opportunities, resources, and best practices that have been developed between principals and afterschool leaders across the country.
