As research suggests an increased need for qualityout-of-school-time programs to align curriculum with that of the regular school day, the Utah Afterschool Network and the Utah State Office of Education organized a professional development opportunity to help program providers better align curriculum, training, and resources. This institute was designed to provide practical resources to participants from a variety of program settings, including school-based, community-based, government/recreation, and private program providers.
