Child Care Center Support
UAN has a team of School-Age Child Care specialists (the "SACC team") who serve licensed child care facilities statewide through funding from the Office of Child Care. The SACC team contracts with OCC to provide coaching for school-age classrooms and administrators.
Intensive Coaching
Centers who participate in the CCQS system may be eligible for an Intensive Coaching grant, which furnishes quality improvement coaches for teachers and administrators in licensed child care centers. The UAN SACC team is proud to serve as the quality improvement coaches for school-age classrooms through such grants. Several coaching models are offered, according to the needs of the individual program. Coaching grants are provided directly by the Office of Child Care.
Peer Learning Communities (PLC)
Centers who participate in the CCQS system are eligible to participate in a free Peer Learning Community (PLC). This virtual series consists of child care center administrators across the state who meet virtually to take courses, set goals, and improve the quality of their school age programs, all facilitated by a UAN quality improvement coach from the SACC team. This opportunity is offered directly by the Office of Child Care. Watch for information about this opportunity coming from OCC twice annually!
Quality Improvement Support Group
The QI Support Group is a free quarterly webinar presented by a UAN coach to directly address teaching practices as measured on the SA-PQA, which is the tool used to assess school age programs in the CCQS system. This opportunity is provided directly by the Office of Child Care. Watch for information about QI Support Groups coming from OCC quarterly!
